At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be better able to

• Describe the risk factors for, and consequences of, infection with C. difficile
• Explain the current clinical unmet needs and the impact of non sustained response in terms of further recurrence, and future treatment options
• Review the outcomes of therapy for C. difficile with FDA approved and non-approved antibiotic therapy
• Identify best practice prevention and management strategies for C. difficile infections.
